Switzerland Onion Tart

Peel and slice the onions. Lightly brown them in a sauté pan with oil, then drain and let cool.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Mix the milk, cream, eggs and flour. Add 5 to 10g of cumin, a pinch of nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Lay the shortcrust pastry into a tart pan, cover with the onions, and scatter the lardons on top.

Pour the custard over the onions and lardons, bake for 30 minutes, then serve immediately.
